The STMC Class of 1986 gathered last week before Homecoming at Parkside Brewery to celebrate their 40-year reunion! Four decades after their senior year at STMC, there were plenty of stories, laughs, memories and friendships to catch up on.

A special thank you to Trevor Mueckel ’86 for bringing everyone together and organizing the evening.

The Class of ’86 were present at STMC for Homecoming last Saturday, where we also honoured our 50th, 30th, 20th and 10-year reunion classes at halftime of the Varsity Football game.

Once a Knight, always a Knight! ⚔️

Get ready to hit the trails at Mikey’s Run, set against the scenic backdrop of Burnaby Lake. The course takes runners through a mix of wide, well-groomed trails and natural pathways, offering a beautiful and peaceful run surrounded by nature.

In Memory of Mike Lowe ‘07

Mike was the kind of person who lit up a room with his quick wit, warm heart, and infectious smile. A devoted father, son, brother, husband, friend, and passionate runner, he also carried struggles beneath the surface, faced challenges quietly, not wanting to burden others. This run honours Mike’s legacy by celebrating his love of running while encouraging openness, connection, and support.

Together this Mental Health Awareness Month, we can help others feel safe to share their struggles and find the strength to reach out. Let’s run for Mike, and for a future without stigma.

Proceeds will be donated to Heads Up Guys, the world’s leading men’s mental health resource.
