Burnaby North Grad Class of 86' 40th Reunion

We are now about 92 days away from this reunion.

With summer upon us now, this would be a great time for those planning to come to the reunion to get their tickets.

The final payment for the venue is fast approaching … in about 20 days.

So I am begging you to get your tickets. I hate to lose this location … and all that money we put down in the past several months.

The worst-case scenario is that I make the final payment out of my own pocket. But know this, I live on a disability pension and somehow collect from you.

Currently, the attendance numbers are low.

Also, as a reminder, I still have the food catering to pay for as well, but that is not due until September 1st. This food catering is the basic menu, nothing fancy.

I really hope you are coming.

And for those who already have your tickets, thanks. Now help me spread the word and convince people to come to the reunion.

Well, we are about to enter June, and summer plans are starting to take shape among us. As we all know, summer is usually a very busy time for many of us, whether it is camping, walking in the parks, swimming at a beach, attending a concert or a wedding or two, or having a BBQ or two. Maybe hanging around with our families as you make these plans.

Please remember to make plans to attend our 40th High School Reunion this coming September 19th, as our deadline is fast approaching. The reunion is only 3 months away.

My summer will be spent getting some of the decorations and door prizes ready, as well as a few past photo surprises.

I ask that you network with everyone and check with our former classmates about the reunion, as I do not have everyone’s email address, or they may not be on the page, etc. Please spread the word.

• Seeing old friends and reconnecting with them
• Several old friends are coming home from out of town(around the world). Many haven’t been home in over 20+ years

Happy to share that I recently picked up a few decorations for the reunion. They arrived today, so that is exciting.
I would also like to remind you that the deadline is fast approaching, with only 6 weeks left before I have to make the final payment to the Scandinavian Centre.
If you haven’t got your tickets and are planning to come, please consider getting them now. The cost is $50 per person. Spouses, partners, or friends are welcome to come too.
E-transfer your money to [email protected] and also email me your mailing address, unless you want to see me in person for the ticket.
After June 20th, the cost of the ticket will go up to $60, so this is your heads-up warning.

Hello Everyone,
I thought I would give you an update on where we stand with the reunion and what is happening.

First, as you know, I have been posting names of our classmates as I go through the yearbook. The main reason I am doing this is to make sure everyone knows about the reunion and does not miss out on the opportunity. Whether you attend or not is up to you. All I ask is that you reach out to me and let me know one way or another.
I have heard from some of you letting me know whether you are attending.

Now, my deadline to make the final payment to the Scandinavian Community Centre is approaching fast (June 20th), and we are 3 months away from the big day.

The catering payment is due at the end of July; I just made a small deposit out of my own money to get started on the payment with them.

Currently, we have sold about 32 tickets; my goal is 75 tickets to break even on the payments for both Catering and Scandinavian centre.
