Play allows children to use their CREATIVITY while developing their IMAGINATION, PHYSICAL, COGNITIVE and EMOTIONAL STRENGTH. Play is important in HEALTHY BRAIN DEVELOPMENT. It is through play that children at a very early age engage and interact in the world around them.

My daycare kids call me TITA(Auntie), a term of endearment for older women. 😊

This pandemic is taking a toll on all of us. Adapting to the "new normal" is easier said than done. Children from 1-5 years old(my daycare's age group)are not eligible for the vaccine. So as extra precaution, I regularly go on a bi-weekly COVID-19 test to make sure that my daycare kids are safe. The daycare, toys and books are cleaned and sanitize daily. There are air purifiers everywhere to ensure clean air especially during this winter time when we can't open our windows for better ventilation. I wear a KN95 mask and face shield when I'm in close proximity with the kids. I take this pandemic seriously especially because I'm in the childcare business. With these safety measures, I can somehow assure my daycare parents that I care for their child and their safety is my utmost priority. Stay safe everyone. 😷💉❤🙏

Welcome to SANDRA's Tots and Babies Family Daycare, your child's HOME away from home. It's a SAFE and HAPPY place for children, where they can be creative and learn basic skills essential to their intellectual growth and development. A place where they learn how to share and get along with their peers. My experience with children started way back when I was a foster parent for children with special needs. We've gone through trainings and thorough background checks to ensure the safety of the children that will be placed in our home. Our home is CHILD PROOF and MINISTRY OF CHILDREN AND FAMILY DEVELOPMENT(MCFD) assessed and approved. It was indeed a very challenging job and yet very rewarding. The feeling of self fulfillment is priceless.

Our normal day at the daycare starts with:
- Playtime and storytelling
- Snacktime
- Alphabets and colors
- Lunch
- Naptime
- Arts and crafts, puzzles
- Snacktime
- Playtime
- Preparing to go home

Located in NORTH BURNABY, Frances St.(corner streets are MADISON and CARLETON streets).

HOURS OF OPERATION :

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. OCCASIONAL early drop off and pick up is allowed but with ADVANCE notice.
