On September 28,2024- 1:00pm- 3:00pm- Documentary film in the Bowen Library Annex, honouring residential school survivors and their families in advance of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Come a little early to get a seat, and stay afterward for a discussion facilitated by members of Simon Fraser University’s Centre for Restorative Justice and the Social Echoes. Free, drop-in.

This film is a 2023 documentary in English with Cree and French subtitles.

We will be back on Bowen Island for NTRD. 2024 marks the eleventh anniversary of Orange Shirt Day. Join us in honouring this time and space to unlearn, learn and relearn the history, truths and injustices by learning about the TRC 94 Calls to Action. 🧡❤️
