A reminder that Grade 5 Students will be going to the Bassano Dam and Pool tomorrow!

Artist in Residence, Rita Wildshut begins her project with the grade 6’s today! Every student at EE will have the opportunity to work with Rita thanks to Eastbrook Parent Council!

A couple of our Grade 6 students are excited to attend Municipal Involvement Day put on by the City of Brooks.

The students get to attend Junior Council where they will be Mayor and Junior Council for the day.

Attention Eastbrook Elementary School Families!

Parent Council is holding a casino fundraiser on June 18 & 19 in Medicine Hat and are in need of more volunteers to work at it.

There are 2 shifts available (3pm-8pm or 8pm to 1am). Parents, grandparents or anyone who likes to volunteer is welcome. Please call or text Shauna at 403-501-4912 for more information.

Casino funds go directly back into the school. Past funds have been used to purchase things like Chrome books, outdoor basketball hoops, swimming lessons, etc. This is a huge fundraiser for our school and they really need help to keep this fundraiser going.

Meals are provided and reimbursement for hotel is also possible.

A reminder that tomorrow is Hats On for Mental Health!

Wear a special hat to school to raise awareness of the importance of good mental health.

Boston Pizza Hot Lunch will be May 26 please watch your students backpacks for forms being sent home over the next few days.

Happy Monday! This morning Eastbrook begins our week with an assembly by grade 3 students on INTEGRITY along with a performance by our Senior Choir. They will perform again at Grasslands Sings on May 30th!

Eastbrook is collecting food bank donations from April 14-20. We appreciate your support!

World Down Syndrome Day is marked each year on March 21, beginning in 2006. The 21st day of March was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome. Every year on March 21, World Down Syndrome Day is observed to create awareness about Down Syndrome.

We encourage all staff and students to celebrate tomorrow, March 21, by wearing mismatched socks to school!

Due to the cold weather today (March 10), our Walking School Buses will be cancelled.

Please be advised that due to the cold temperatures, the WALKING school bus has been cancelled for today.

Due to the predicted weather forecast⚠️ Indicating snowfall warnings for March 10, 2023, parents are reminded they have the final decision to send a child to school or on the bus, even when buses are operating and schools are open.

Please monitor our website and social media for updates on bus routes.

If parents decide to keep their child home from school due to poor weather or road conditions, please let your child's school know. Parents will be notified of bus cancellations as soon as possible, pending road and weather reports.

Parents may have noticed order forms coming out this week regarding our upcoming Hot Lunch (if you haven’t received one yet, they will be sent out by the end of the week, so be sure to check your students backpack).

We have changed the date. Our new hot lunch will be on Tuesday, March 21.

Please have all orders and money in by March 17. Payments can be made online through school cash online or by cash.

New to the sport and want to try it out first? That's ok, we have a free "try lacrosse" night happening Monday March 13th 5:00pm-6:00pm . Just bring a helmet with a cage and running shoes.

Eastbrook School is participating in the ‘cup of love’ fundraiser for Ukraine.
Kindergarten students who are not here on Thursday are welcome to bring donations to school tomorrow and will be receiving their hot chocolate tomorrow as well!
