Brooks Junior High School

We are so fortunate to have such a strong community behind us, that believes our students deserve the very best!

A big thank you to Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) for a generous $100,000 donation toward the new outdoor multi-sport field complex at Brooks Junior High School!

Grasslands Public Schools and Brooks Community Football Association are grateful for CNRL’s support in bringing this project closer to reality and creating more opportunities for students, athletes and families across our community. 🏈⚽

It's another very busy week with more tournaments, a field trip and a few changes to the usual routine.

🏈🏐 First of all- no practices or games will be hosted in our gymnasium due to some construction work that will be happening in the gym installing our new audio/visual system. See the schedule for the alternate locations.

🍎 Secondly - All parents are welcome to join us on Monday evening for our first Parent Council meeting of the year. 6:30 pm in our library.

🔶 Finally - don't forget to wear an orange shirt on Wednesday as we recognize the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation.

🏃‍♂️ Together, we can finish the marathon.

On Friday, BJHS will do our Terry Fox Run.

Terry showed us that hope, courage, and determination can change the world—and now it’s our turn to carry his dream forward.

Our goal is simple but powerful: Raise $1,000 for cancer research.

If every student brings just one toonie ($2), we can reach our goal and make a real difference in the fight against cancer.

Let's show what our school community can do when we work together. Bring your toonie, tie up your laces, and let’s keep Terry’s dream alive! ❤️
