James Hill Ukulele Initiative

James Hill Ukulele Initiative The JHUI Teacher Certification Program is the only program of its kind in the world: a comprehensive training course for ukulele teachers.

A JHUI Teacher Certificate recognizes the attainment of knowledge and performance skills as well as a pedagogical understanding of the James Hill Ukulele Method. Certification provides acknowledgement of an ability to teach music literacy through the ukulele, providing tangible evidence of achievement to employers and/or students. The James Hill Ukulele Initiative offers three levels of certification: Levels 1, 2, and 3. Two 6-month course sessions are offered every year. All three levels are offered in each session.

How Does It Work?
Post a link to your performance anytime on the day of the recital in the Uketropolis Community (www.uketropolis.com).

Here’s how:

Record your performance (audio or video).
Upload your performance to YouTube, Vimeo, SoundCloud, Acapella or any other shareable platform.
Post the link to your performance in the community.
This is your chance to shine, to show what you’ve learned so far and, best of all, to enjoy everyone’s performances and give kudos to your peers!

BONUS ZOOM AFTER-PARTY: All performers will receive a special email invitation to a private online after-party with James Hill!
