Hello Viking Families,

My name is Christie LaBrash, and I am excited to introduce myself as the new Principal of Vanier Public School.
I am thrilled to be returning to the Vanier Public School community after many years and look forward to joining such a strong staff team and supportive school community. I am excited to get to know our wonderful students and work together to support their success, well-being, and growth.
I would like to personally thank outgoing Principal Teresa Polite for her time and effort in ensuring a smooth transition into the school for me. Her pride and care for the Vanier students, staff, and community are very evident. I wish her all the best in her retirement.
I hope you and your family have a restful and enjoyable summer. I look forward to meeting you and welcoming everyone back in September.

Today, our Grade 6s had their leaving ceremony, and we couldn't be more proud of them! Best wishes next year in Grade 7!

We’re so proud of our partnership with the Brockville Rotary! Thank you for supporting our Early Act club and honouring our Grade 6 leaders!

Our Gr. 1/2 class created a beautiful pollinator garden in our school yard. This is part of our bigger vision to create a vibrant, climate resilient learning landscape that nurtures both environmental stewardship and student wellbeing.

Ms McDougall’s grade 3/4 and Ms Notman’s grade 4/5 class had great day! They took VIA Rail train to Kingston and spent the afternoon at Lake Ontario Park.
