Thousand Islands Toastmasters

Our club has been in mourning for the past month, after the loss of one of our newest and highly valued members. Although new to the area, the Sibthorp’s made it a home and support it as though they have been lifelong residents.

The Brockville and Area Food Bank was the best place to pay tribute in his honour. We were blessed to have benefited from the passion Colin held for leadership and speaking; wish that he rests peacefully. 💝

In Colin’s memory the Toastmasters have kindly donated to the Food Bank, Colin was a dedicated member of this group. Thank you, Toastmasters, for honoring his memory in such a way. We all miss you very much Colin, we are forever grateful for the time you spent with us. 💚

We get closer to gathering again as a club every day and returning to community activities we want to say thank you to all to get there. We are traditionally hosted in the Revera Bridlewood Manor Retirement Residence and we anticipate it will still be sometime - if they can ever have us back. With that in mind - we are considering an outdoor social (with appropriate safety measures in place).
