The messy middle can be uncomfortable.

You know where you want to go, but you can’t always see exactly how you’re going to get there.

That’s where we can get stuck waiting for certainty, waiting until we’re ready, or waiting for everything to make sense.

But you don’t need to see the entire road.

You just need to ask:

What is the next elevated brick I can lay in the direction I want to go? 🪵

One intentional decision.
One courageous conversation.
One action.
One brick.

Keep moving toward your direction — even when the middle gets messy.

And if you’re in your own messy middle and need clarity around what’s next, my 90-Minute Breakthrough Session is designed to help you get clear, identify what’s keeping you stuck, and create an intentional path forward.

Reach out to me if you’re ready to have that conversation. 💙

Today, I did something fear had held me back from doing: I went live.

For a long time, I recorded and uploaded my videos because recording allowed me to correct mistakes and make everything feel perfect. Today, I chose action over perfection.

This is the first article in my Elevated Brick Library.

Brick #1: Fear Is a Liar—What Is Fear Holding You Back From?

Fear Is a Liar: What Is Fear Holding You Back From?

Fear is often described as false evidence appearing real.

Many of us allow fear to control how we live, the decisions we make, and the opportunities we pursue. But fear does not always announce itself clearly. Sometimes it shows up disguised as imposter syndrome, perfectionism, procrastination, or comparing ourselves to someone else.

One of my fears was doing live videos.

I used to record my videos instead because I wanted everything to be perfect. I wanted to make sure my message was acceptable and that I looked and sounded polished. I compared myself to experienced speakers who appeared confident and comfortable on camera, and I worried that I would not be as good as they were.

Then I realized something important:

I am just as worthy of being heard as anyone else.

I have a right to be here. I am allowed to take up space. My voice deserves to be heard because I have a message that needs to be shared.

Fear can stop us from pursuing our dreams and stepping into what we know may be our calling. We sit back and watch other people succeed. We cheer them on, celebrate their victories, and sometimes even pay money to watch professional athletes

compete and pursue their dreams.

Meanwhile, fear keeps us sitting on the sidelines of our own lives.

We willingly watch other people play their game, but why are we unwilling to step onto the field and play our own?

Maybe your next step is taking a cooking class, starting a business, applying for a new position, speaking up in a meeting, or finally sharing an idea you have kept to yourself.

Why not you?

Your voice deserves to be heard. You are allowed to take up space. Do not dim your light or make yourself smaller so that someone else can feel bigger, stronger, or superior.

Fear does not have to keep you on the sidelines.

Stand up and take the first step toward the life you want and the person you were created to become. Do not spend your life living according to someone else’s expectations.

Choose to live intentionally and purposefully.
Take one step today toward creating the life you have always wanted.

You do not have to overcome every fear at once.

You only need to lay one elevated brick at a time.

Your Elevated Brick Reflection

What is fear currently stopping you from doing?

What is one small step you could take today, even while the fear is still present?

You do not have to walk through it alone. Share your fear with me, and we can begin working through it together.

One Decision Changed Everything

As I was having my coffee this morning, I found myself reflecting on the past year.

In March 2025, I had a stroke.

In an instant, I lost my independence as I knew it. I couldn't drive. I had to rely on others for rides. I remember hearing the words from a specialist that I never wanted to hear:

"You'll never drive again."

For a moment, I could have accepted that as my future.

Instead, I made a decision.

I decided that my stroke would not define the rest of my life.

I chose to believe that life happens for me, not to me.

That one decision changed the way I approached every setback that followed. It didn't mean the journey was easy. It meant I stopped allowing my circumstances to decide who I would become.

Today, I have my license back, I'm building JP Solutions and I'm helping people rebuild confidence, clarity, and purpose after life's biggest transitions.

Sometimes our greatest breakthroughs don't begin with a giant leap.

Sometimes they begin because we choose to take the first elevated brick. 💙🪵

What decision do you need to make today that your future self will thank you for?

If you're ready to start rebuilding with purpose, join the JP Solutions Community and take your first step today.

The future depends on what you do today.” — Mahatma Gandhi

That quote reminds me that our future isn’t built all at once. It’s built through the choices we make today.

Every conversation.
Every act of courage.
Every lesson learned.
Every small step forward.

We don’t need to see the entire path. We simply need to take the next step and trust that each decision is laying the foundation for the life we’re building.

Today is another opportunity to build—not someday, not when everything is perfect, but today.

🧱 One elevated brick at a time.

For years, I’ve known that no one was coming to save me.

I had to become my own hero.

Life wasn’t happening to me—it was happening for me.

The moment I truly accepted that, everything began to change.

It wasn’t one big decision that transformed my life.

It was hundreds of small ones.

Choosing courage over comfort.

Choosing growth over excuses.

Choosing to believe that my story wasn’t over.

Every one of those choices became another elevated brick in the life I was rebuilding.

Today, I still don’t have every answer. I still face challenges. But I no longer watch my life from the sidelines.

I choose to step onto the field.

If you’ve been waiting for someone to rescue you, encourage you, or give you permission to begin…

This is your reminder:

Be your own hero.

Your past does not define your future.

Imposter syndrome does not get to write your story.

You do.

So take the next step.

Lay the next brick.

And keep building the life you’ve been called to live.

One Elevated Brick at a Time. 💙🧱

You don’t build a new life in one giant leap.

You build it one courageous decision, one faithful action, and one elevated brick at a time. 🧱💙

Every day is another opportunity to lay the next brick.

Keep building.

One Brick at a Time 🧱

We often look at someone else’s finished building and wonder why our own progress feels slow.

What we don’t see are the thousands of bricks that were laid before anyone noticed.

Every conversation.
Every workout.
Every difficult decision.
Every act of courage.
Every time you choose not to quit.

Those are the bricks.

You don’t build a meaningful life in one giant leap.

You build it one intentional brick at a time.

Today, ask yourself:

What’s the next brick you need to lay?

Mine is continuing to build a life and business that serves others with consistency, one conversation at a time.

One elevated brick at a time. 🧱

I’d love to hear from you—what brick are you laying today?
