💚💛 A BIG Warrior Thank You to Twin Rivers Paper Company! 💚💛

On behalf of all of us at Fort Kent Elementary School, we want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Twin Rivers Paper Company, Shawn Babin, HR Manager, and all the team members who contributed to the generous donation of school supplies!

From notebooks, folders, pencils, and markers to other classroom essentials, these supplies will help our students and teachers throughout the school year.

We are so fortunate to live in a community where local businesses and their employees come together to support our schools. Thank you, Shawn and the entire Twin Rivers team, for thinking of our students and making a difference at FKES! 😊

💚💛 See Something, Say Something!

We regularly remind our students that keeping FKES safe and caring for one another is everyone’s responsibility. If they see or hear something that concerns them, we want them to tell a trusted adult.

Families are an important part of this too! If your child comes home and tells you something that you feel we need to know about, please reach out directly to your child’s teacher or contact the main office so we can follow up appropriately.

Our social media pages are a great place to celebrate our school, but concerns involving students or situations at school are best handled privately and directly with us rather than in the comments.

See something...say something. Together, we help keep FKES safe! 💚💛

💚💛 A Quick Note to Our FKES Families

We love sharing all of the great things happening at FKES, and we also love hearing from our families! Moving forward, we are going to begin allowing comments on our Facebook posts.

We simply ask that we work together to keep this page positive, respectful, and focused on our students and school community. Comments that are very negative, disrespectful, derogatory, or inappropriate may be removed.

If you have a concern or an issue that needs to be addressed, Facebook probably isn’t the best place to work through it publicly. Please call the school or send us a private message. We are always happy to have a conversation and work together.

After learning about the September 11 attacks, Ms. Ashley's Fourth Grade class talked about and found ways to honor heroes from that day, help our community and identify exactly what a hero is. We also learned how to be a hero in our own way!
