Some reminders for students and parents:

Students must now appear in class in full doboks. Summer is over and so is the summer dress code.

If your dobok does not fit, let me know and I'll get you a new one.

New students can get a dobok at the dojang.

As per the information package, students arriving late for class may not be permitted to take part, unless prior arrangements were made.

HAPPY TAEKWONDO DAY!

International Taekwondo Day is celebrated annually on September 4 to honor the martial art and commemorate its official adoption as an Olympic sport.

Olympic Recognition: The date marks September 4, 1994, when the International Olympic Committee (IOC) voted to include taekwondo in the Olympic Games during the 103rd IOC Session in Paris.

Official Establishment: World Taekwondo officially designated September 4 as Taekwondo Day in 2006 during its General Assembly in Vietnam.

Core Values: The day promotes discipline, perseverance, respect, self-control, and integrity.

I've been asked when we were going to have jackets again.

I have started the conversation with Lexly Designs our local maker.

They will be similar to the ones from a few years ago, but maybe with a more dirt resistant color.

Let me know in class if you are interested.

Well, Summer Daycamp is a wrap for 2026.

Today, some of our members decided to clean up Turtle Island. I supervised to make sure they didn't touch anything dangerous. It was (and still is) disgraceful; but a little bit better thanks to some young environmental citizens.

Tomorrow is the first day of school in the SSRCE, so also the first day of our 2026-27 After School Program.

WE HAVE PLACEMENT AVAILABLE.

MESSAGE TODAY.
