Congratulations to Peter Naugler on his retirement. Peter has been working for the SSRCE transportation team and for Petite Riviere Elementary for 38 years. We are so grateful for the time he has given to our students and school community.

That is the number of times a vehicle drove past a school bus with its red lights flashing, approaching from the front or passing from behind.

𝟯𝟮𝟰 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 a student's life was put at risk due to inattentive driving.

Its also 𝟯𝟮𝟰 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 our remarkable bus drivers did everything possible to prevent a dangerous situation from becoming worse. Without their unwavering focus and dedication, the outcome could have been very different.
We cannot thank our drivers enough for the care, professionalism, and responsibility they show every single day.

We also want to extend a 𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗖𝗠𝗣 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. Throughout the year, we send many reports their way, and they work tirelessly to help keep our students - and our roads - safe.

We still have 𝟰 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 left this school year.
