Breton Elementary School

10/12/2026

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed some special time with family and friends! ❤️

Here’s a look at what’s coming up this week:

🚌 Thursday – School Bus Evacuation Drills
This is a precautionary safety drill, much like practising a fire drill, to help ensure students know what to do in an emergency. These drills help us keep everyone safe and prepared!

🔥 Thursday – Fire Safety Awareness
We will be joined by our local fire department at school this day.

🧥 A Friendly Reminder About the Weather
The mornings are chilly, but the afternoons are still warming up! 🍁 Sending your child to school dressed in layers is a great way to help them stay comfortable throughout the day. Jackets, sweaters, and extra layers make all the difference!

🏊 Coming Up – Grade 5 Swimming Lessons
Our next group heading to the pool will be Grade 5, with swimming lessons taking place the week of October 26–30.

Have a wonderful week, Breton families! 🌟

🎉 OUR SCHOOL COMMUNITY IS AMAZING! 🎉

We did it! 💙 Our Terry Fox fundraising goal was $2,000, and thanks to the incredible generosity of our students, families, staff, and community, we raised a grand total of…

🏆 $2,008.05! 🏆

We are so proud of the way our school community came together to support Terry’s dream of finding a cure for cancer. Every donation, every Toonie, and every step taken during our Terry Fox Run made a difference.

Thank you for showing once again what an amazing community we have! 💙🦊

Together, we can make a difference!
