The road in front of the school is still blocked off, which greatly reduces parking space. Please be mindful of this if you are coming to the year end celebrations.

Good morning BES Families,

Due to the road closure this morning, all buses will be using the school loop for drop-off. Buses will arrive and unload one at a time before turning around and heading back toward Hwy 616.
If you are able, please consider delaying parent drop-offs until after the buses have departed at approximately 8:25/8:30a.m. This will help reduce congestion and improve traffic flow during our busiest arrival period.

Keeping traffic moving efficiently and ensuring student safety remain our top priorities. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and cooperation.

At this time, school will proceed as scheduled due to our pre-planned school-wide field trip. Students will not be in the building during the day and will not be using water facilities or spending time outside on school grounds.

Please be aware that morning bus drop-off will look different than usual. We expect increased traffic and congestion, so we ask that families follow all traffic control measures and allow extra time for arrival.

For student safety, please do not have your child walk to school. Please make alternate transportation arrangements to ensure they arrive safely. Upon arrival, students will enter the school immediately and will not be waiting outside.

We are aware that the road in front of the school has flooded.

At this time, school will proceed as usual tomorrow. However, bus routes may need to be adjusted, and we ask everyone to exercise extreme caution when travelling to and from school.
For students who normally walk to school using the road in front of the school, please do not attempt to walk through the flooded area. Families should make alternate arrangements and prioritize safety.
This is an evolving situation, and conditions may change. Please continue to monitor bus route updates, just as you would during inclement weather. If there are any changes that impact school operations, we will communicate those updates as soon as possible.

On another note, this is a reminder for our Grades 1–6 field trip tomorrow. Please remember to pack swimming gear. Subway lunch will be provided for students.

Our Kindergarten to Grade 5 classes enjoyed a field trip to Discovery Wildlife Park! Lots of fun exploring and seeing the animals!

A big thank you to all of our dads, grandpas, stepdads, and father figures who joined us this morning for our Donuts for Dad event!

It was wonderful to see so many special people spending time together, enjoying a morning treat, sharing smiles, and playing games. These moments create lasting memories and help strengthen the connections that make our school community so special.

Thank you for taking the time to join us and make the morning so meaningful. We loved celebrating with you!

Happy Father’s Day to all of the amazing father figures in our school community! 💙🍩

Hello BES Parents!

The field trip bus is running about 15 minutes behind, so that pushes everything back slightly. Don’t panic to not see buses yet, they should arrive about 3:40 and transfer buses are aware.
