Please join COPACS SD63 - The Confederation of Parent Advisory Councils of Saanich for a SD63 School Board Trustees - All Candidates Meeting.

Saanich Schools, SD63, community members will have the opportunity to hear directly from school board trustee candidates at an upcoming All-Candidates Meeting.
Organized by the Confederation of Parents’ Advisory Councils of Saanich (COPACS), and the Saanich Teacher's Association, the event aims to help local voters make an informed decision before heading to the polls. Candidates will answer pre-submitted community questions regarding key issues facing the school district.

Back to School: Be a Safe Pedestrian!

Now that students are settling into their second week of school, we’d like to share 10 helpful tips from ICBC to help students, parents, and all pedestrians stay safe on the roads.

Drivers: Please remember that school zones are busy places. Slow down, put your phone away, and watch carefully for students crossing the road.

Digital Safety Session Tonight.
Aimed for Parents, caregivers and grandparents of kids 10+
September 15 from 6:30–7:30 PM, Safer Schools Together is hosting 'Establishing Safe, Caring, & Respectful Digital Communities', a free online session.
This practical 60-minute session will help families navigate today’s rapidly changing digital world, including social media, smartphones, gaming, group chats, location sharing and AI. Topics will include healthy digital habits, cyberbullying, digital footprints, sexting and sextortion, geo-location risks, online peer support, and where youth can turn for help.
