Crossing All Bridges Learning Centre

Its Fine Arts Friday! This week we welcomed back the participants to Crossing All Bridges for our new program year. This week in the Expressive Arts program we learned more about each other and our interests while creating a get to know you collage. The participants used their creativity to put together art projects in different styles. We made origami lizards, Mermaid Tail collages using different textures and flower bouquets using recycled materials. The participants are also eager for our new music unit starting next week.

We had such a fun week back at CAB in Recreation & Wellness. Participating in our daily cardio, walks on nice days as well as some games and team building activities to help us get adjusted to our new groups and make some new friends.

Our team building games included a fitness scavenger hunt done as a class, 'all about me soccer ball cards' and summertime BINGO!

We have a change to our plans for this Fridays' Social Cub!

Instead of attending Movie in the Park, our group will now be heading to the Open Arms Movie Night for a fun evening together. The movie playing is Lilo & Stitch (Live Action) 🍿

Summer may be winding down, but there’s lots happening at CABLC! 💙🧡

This month, we’re looking back on an incredible Summer Sizzle Camp, celebrating the friendships, confidence, connection and memories made along the way. We’re also getting ready to welcome everyone back for a brand-new program year on August 17!

Day 4 and 5 of Summer Sizzle Camp were a blast!!

Yesterday we went on down to Muck's Pickleball for some fun games and challenged each other to some minute to win it games!!

Today we headed out to Dave and Busters and had some delicious food and played some fun games!!

Thank you to everybody who joined us in the past 3 weeks, you guys made it the most fun camp ever! We can't wait to see you all next year!!

Today we rolled on out to Echo Bowl, what a fun day it was getting all the strikes!

We joined together to create friendship collages, and played a fun game of guess who!!

We had so much fun at Echo Bowl and we can't wait to go back out on another adventure to Muck's for some pickleball

Day one of our last week of camp has begun!!
Welcome to our Teamwork Takeover week where we will be joining together for lots of fun teamwork and friendly competition!!

Today we started with fun parachute games then headed outside for a game of soccer!!

We ended the day with some fun team building games!!

Tomorrow we're heading to Echo Bowl for some fun!!

Welcome to Wonderland!!

Today at Summer Sizzle Camp we had a blast with our Alice in Wonderland themed day!

We started by decorating our own top hats, we were absolutely delighted with the beautiful designs!

We headed outside to follow our Alice in Wonderland scavenger hunt that the Queen of Hearts set up for us, and finally ended our day outside with croquet and outdoor games!!

Remember your bathing suit for tomorrow because we're going swimming!!
