Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information | Wilfrid Laurier University Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

Due to damage sustained by the Student Centre building in Brantford earlier this morning as a result of a motor vehicle collision, the building, including the Students' Union and Wellness Centre can not be accessed at this time.

In the interim Wellness Centre student support coordinator and mental health nurse will be available at the residence life offices at Grand River Hall

Laurier Brantford Foot Patrol and Laurier Brantford Student Food Bank services will not be available for the time being and students with immediate needs are encouraged to contact Special Constables and and the Dean of Students office (currently stationed at GRH)

U-Desk and Tech share services in Brantford will be unavailable for the interim with any tech share products already out and due back today will have an automatic extension to Monday if not Tuesday at the latest.

We will continue to update the situation as more information becomes available and appreciate your patience.

We're heading off to reading week a little early this week. U-desk Brantford will close as of 4:00 p.m. Thursday October 4th and reopen again after the break Monday October 15th at 10:00 a.m. Have a great week away. Be safe Golden Hawks!

Looking for some extra cash Branford Golden Hawks?

The Imaginus Poster fair will be visiting the Brantford campus in the RCW lobby Thursday September 13th and Friday September 14th.

We will be looking for reliable students to help with morning set up, advertising, evening security and take down.

If you are interested in one or all of these paid positions please email [email protected] or stop by the U-Desk Brantford between the hours of 10 to 4 Monday September 10th, Tuesday the 11th or Wednesday the 12th. Positions will be filled on a first come basis.

If you are able to work shifts between the desk operating hours of Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. please consider applying with us.
