Beginnings Preschool is located in the lower level of Grace Lutheran Church, where we enjoy a spacious, gym-size classroom. We are a play-based pre-kindergarten early learning program. Administration
Beginnings Preschool is an incorporated, non-profit organization administered by a Board if Directors (primarily parents). Financial support is received from the Manitoba government, parent fees, fund raising and community donations. Daily Schedule

Arrival/Greeting & Short Free Play: All teachers greet children and get them busy with an activity. One teacher is upstairs monitoring the entrance, the other teacher is in the classroom. Once children have arrived and are settled with their things in their lockers, a few learning centers will be open to them while we wait for everyone to arrive.

Free Play Time, Craft, Gym, Rotating Centers: One teacher runs craft and one teacher runs gym activity (could be the same person). The other teacher engages children in play activities, work with children who require additional support, and alternate taking children to the bathroom. Later in the year, depending on developmental readiness of the students, children may rotate in centers that focus on school readiness skills and may contain gym/craft.
