Report for the daily jazzy, by Curtis Ratzlaff.

Today was the final day of Jazzy July, and it was amazing!! What a way to end the camp.. We started with nothing unusual, a couple songs, but after that, the party began! There was the slipslide again, which was a huge attraction, then the water balloon dodgeball started, in which everyone had fun. A story and lesson was told, and a bracelet craft went with it. Lots of other great games were played, like giant wall, and we all had fun! There was face-painting and freezies to eat, it was a blast. Then it was time for the announcement: Which team would win the team games; Red, or Yellow?.. The time finally came, And the score was announced, team yellow had a score of 146, but red had the score of 227! Team red won! Both teams gave it their all, but in the end, red prevailed. That concludes the final report of the daily jazzy. We’ll see you all next year!!

Today was the second-to-last day of Jazzy July, and we are ending it off with a splash! It started with a game of giant rock paper scissors and some songs, followed by a snack. Then we started the real fun with a slip-and-slide! Their were some great slides and having the sprinkler beside us made it even more fun. After we all dried off, it was time to head over to the park for the talent show. Some great talents were shown off, and we all had fun. Tune in tomorrow for the final day of Jazzy july! You won’t want to miss it, cuz’ it’ll be great!

Today was day 1 of the final week of Jazzy July! It was a great day, with lots of things to do. We started off by singing songs in a circle and dancing to music, then we had a snack and did 3 variations of tag! David also told a story, and the main event of the day was the treasure hunt, which team red won by five seconds. It was really close! It was a really good day, and the Staff of Jazzy july are planning to end the next two days off with a splash! Tune in tomorrow and the day after that for more info.

Yesterday was the last day of the second week of Jazzy july. Because it rained, we were forced to take cover inside of the tenth street Literacy groups building, where we did lots of fun activities, such as; balancing-a-ball-on-a-spoon-in-your-mouth relay race, making a cup tower in the fastest time possible, and mennonite madness! David also told a story, which lead into the lesson. Even though we had to be inside, there were lots of fun things to do which made it a great day!

Today was a great day at Jazzy july, as the games were 100 percent water focused, from water balloon dodgeball, to water gun mission impossible! Getting wet on a hot day is always a breath of fresh water, so on a hot day like today, all the water games were very fun! Another fun game was the game that I simply call; “Water Hose Havoc!” in which we all stood in a semi-circle around someone who had the hose. That person would then use the water hose to either spray at everyone’s feet, or everyone’s heads, so that they would have to duck or jump to dodge the water. If you get hit, you’re out! Overall, this was an amazing day at Jazzy July. Tune in tomorrow evening for the next article of the daily jazzy.
