Research. Mentorship. Community. And a little dirt. This is what doing what’s right looks like to us. 🌱🚧

As we head into fall, we’re looking back at some of the great work that happened this summer — including a day in the field with our CEO, Todd Burns, and Neil Daniels, one of our Mitacs internship students from Brandon University.

Todd spent the day with Neil getting hands-on with road stabilization, sharing some of what we’ve learned over the years and, of course, getting his hands dirty as well!

And this wasn’t just any road.

It’s a local Winnipeg road that we donate product to each year, working alongside the City of Winnipeg to help stabilize the surface, control dust, and help reduce the environmental impact for the surrounding community.

Neil is the latest in a number of Brandon University students who have studied Cypher solutions and their performance with local materials and roads. Supporting research, investing in the next generation, and giving students opportunities to take what they’re learning out of the classroom and into real-world applications is something we strongly believe in.

We’re looking forward to seeing where Neil’s research takes him — down the road. 😉

A big thank you to Mitacs and Brandon University for continuing to support collaboration, research, and innovation right here at home.

And Neil… about that vintage Cypher vest. 😂 We might have to keep that one for the archives!

Better Roads. Better Bottom Line. Better Planet.

We're delighted to have the support of wonderful community partners like Waves of Hope Dragon Boat Team and the Brandon Wheat Kings Hockey Club (WHL).

Join us October 25 for the first-ever, Pink the Rink with the Brandon Wheat Kings in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This very special Sunday will raise funds for the Hope in Our Backyard campaign, which supports the Breast Cancer Cell and Molecular Research Lab right here in Brandon at Brandon University.

Did you know that we have a breast cancer research lab here? Did you know that they're doing research not conducted anywhere else in the world? And currently, they're working on a blood test to detect breast cancer, which could change the how we diagnose and treat this deadly disease.

So please consider joining us on October 25, wearing pink, and supporting a cause that is making ripples around the world!
