During this unique time, we have all been forced to adjust to new routines and accept unwelcomed change. Children need information and explanations to help them understand what is happening. They often imagine things that are worse than reality. Parents and other family members can help dispel fears and anxieties. What you say and do regarding this unique circumstance can influence your child more than anything you tell them to do. This webinar will explore ways of supporting your children’s mental health and help them feel more confident and assured of their safety and stability during this stressful time.

International Leadership Award - Winter 2020

Sheridan’s International Centre presents this award to students who demonstrate outstanding leadership and engagement on campus. This award is to recognize international students for their leadership and engagement contributions to Sheridan. Demonstrated involvement may include outstanding contributions in the classroom, student/campus life, leadership roles in student government, clubs and associations, being a peer mentor or an i-Star etc.

The application deadline is on March 13, 2020

Number of Awards: 3

Value of Awards: $2,000, $1,000, $500
