📍Halifax ➡️ Lessons that go beyond the court.
Our Grade 9s had an inspiring 1st day in Halifax with a visit to the Tribe Network — a hub supporting entrepreneurship and innovation in Canada — where they met Daneesha Provo, former Team Canada guard and now Community Engagement Lead at Tribe.
Daneesha shared how basketball opened doors to higher education, leadership, and community impact. For our students — including three in our new prep basketball program — was a chance to see how athletics can open doors far beyond the
game. 🏀✨
At Tall Pines, we’ve taken the first steps to link academics with athletics, showing students that discipline, resilience, and teamwork learned on the court can fuel success in every arena.

I ❤️ N.Y.!! We just returned from an incredible week in New York City where we experienced 4 Broadway shows, a Yankees game, flying fighter jets, unlimited ice cream, The Muppets, Sesame Street, bagel & truffle making, multiple museums, iconic landmarks and so much more! What an amazing way to end the school year! 😊

The children have been engaged in their culminating project for their unit on “How We Organize Ourselves”. As part of their learning, they formed a class non-profit organization and created beautiful crafts
These items were sold to parents, staff and fellow students during this week. We are proud to share that our Grade 2 team raised an incredible $1,915 for the Brampton Animal Services.
To see the impact of their efforts, the students visited the animal shelter and learned firsthand how their donations will help support rescued animals. This experience gave them a deeper sense of empathy, awareness, and responsibility, and brought our learning to life in such a meaningful way. Well done, Grade 2!

We welcomed our lovely families from Grades 1-10 to our annual Student-Led Conferences. These grade 1 children had the opportunity to showcase their knowledge, present their work, and reflect on their individual learning journey. We thank our parents and teachers for their encouragement and support, making this yet another successful event!
