We had a lot of busy bees at our art camp this past week!

Art camp is more than just making fun pictures. We learn important lessons like "Your First is Your Worst" and "Practice Makes Progress".
We also learn from other artists such as this illustration video by Tim Watcher where he shows us just how many edits are required for his cartoon drawing. Why is it important that students see this? So they can understand that "editing" our drawings is a normal, essential part of the artistic process. Erasers are an important part of our tool kit. Editing does not mean we are "bad" at drawing. It means we are good at it and getting even better!
