Saint Ann is the birthplace of some of Jamaica’s iconic figures such as Marcus Mosiah Garvey, Bob Marley, Shabba Ranks, Floyd Lloyd, Burning Spear, Busy Signal, Bryan Art, Romain Virgo and my mother, Mavis Wollaston aka Ma Mae. A woman who has left an indelible mark not only in her home parish but in Trench Town (Jungle) through her love, generosity and kindness. Happy Mother's Day to the world's greatest mom Ma Mae. Gone but never forgetten.
