Our athletes were tired. They have been training for over 2 hours.

🥋 **Congratulations, Grand Master Marcano!** 🥋

Red Dawn Martial Arts is incredibly proud to congratulate **Grand Master Wilfrid Marcano** on achieving the prestigious rank of **9th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo**.

Beginning his Taekwondo journey in **1974**, Grand Master Marcano became Head Instructor at Brampton Jong Park Taekwondo School and, in 1986, Head Instructor at Red Dawn Martial Arts in 1996.

For decades, he has been much more than an instructor. He has been a **teacher, mentor, role model, and positive influence** in the lives of countless students and instructors. Those who know him know a man of tremendous knowledge and skill, but also one who leads with **humility, compassion, and kindness**.

Congratulations, Grand Master Marcano, on this extraordinary and well-deserved achievement. **Over 50 years in Taekwondo and a legacy that continues through every life you have touched.** 🙏🥋

ARJUN 🥋 | MEET OUR BLACK BELTS

Arjun is a 2nd Degree Black Belt and multidisciplinary martial artist with experience in Kickboxing, Taekwondo, and Karate.

Throughout his years at Red Dawn, he has developed into both an accomplished competitor and a strong leader within our academy. His achievements include becoming a WAKO North American Champion and earning silver at the WKC World Championships. 🏆

Beyond competition, Arjun continues to give back to the community he grew up training in. As a volunteer coach in our kids’ classes, he now helps guide and encourage the next generation of students.

His journey represents an important part of what being a black belt means at Red Dawn: developing your own abilities while becoming someone others can learn from and look up to.

This is only a glimpse into Arjun’s accomplishments and journey. Our Black Belt Series introduces the students and leaders who have grown with Red Dawn, each having been part of our academy for 5+ years.

HARJOT 🥋

Harjot is a 1st Degree Black Belt who has trained and competed across Kickboxing, Taekwondo, and Karate.

One of the most meaningful parts of Harjot’s journey has been watching who he has become along the way. From a quiet, soft-spoken kid to a young martial artist who has found his voice and developed confidence, his growth extends far beyond the mats.

That growth has taken him to the international stage, where he represented Red Dawn and competed at the WKC World Championships. 🌎

Harjot’s journey is a reminder that earning a black belt is about much more than physical ability. Some of the greatest accomplishments happen in the person a student becomes along the way.

This is only a glimpse into Harjot’s accomplishments and journey. Our Black Belt Series introduces the students and leaders who have grown with Red Dawn, each having been part of our academy for 5+ years.
