Thank you to the Gananoque SS community who participated in our parent workshop! We had great discussions about how to decipher the level of conflict our kids are facing and how to distinguish the difference between developmentally age-appropriate conflict vs unhealthy conflict that can become bullying. Throwback to our wonderful day at William G. Davis!! Students engaged in thoughtful discussion and fun role-playing activities to practise setting healthy boundaries during conflict. We also explored what makes up everyday healthy conflict vs when things start leaning towards bullying. Well done!

Go, Church St. PS, go! The primaries engaged in storytelling and role-play to discover the power of body language and tone of voice. The juniors dove into deep conversations surrounding conflict vs bullying, and what is considered healthy conflict in relationships. Well done! Wonderful day last week visiting the gr. 4s and gr. 8s at Toronto Waldorf School! The 4s evaluated the level of conflicts in relationships and discussed when they become unhealthy towards bullying. The 8s centred into their own emotions and explored how our actions are effected, and how to regulate them. Way to go! Toronto Waldorf School

What an honour it was for Brave to share our expertise with all STEO bus drivers! Early May, we traveled around eastern Ontario to equip bus drivers with more strategies and tools to support healthy and strong student interactions on the bus. End of April, we spent 3 fabulous days at Harrowsmith PS (LDSB). Gr. 1-3 engaged in activities on body language and tone of voice to communicate clearly and confidently, while gr. 4-6 dove into discovering what conflict entails and when it becomes bullying.
