Happy ECE Appreciation Day to our amazing Early Childhood Educators! Laugh & Learn ELCC would not be able to make the connections we have if it was not for them, and their hard work and dedication.
Each and every day they help us to fulfil Our Promise, Our Purpose, and Our Philosophy to the children and families in our care. They help us be more, and achieve more. For that, we are appreciative, and owe them our upmost respect!

Today, on September 30th, we are presented with the opportunity to learn and reflect on the trauma caused by residential schools, as well as honour the survivors, their families and their communities.
Internally, we will take this opportunity to learn and reflect by providing educational resources to further the knowledge of our educators and program staff. If you are looking for a place to start your journey, the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation hosts a variety of resources on the history of residential schools.
Reconciliation is an ongoing process, and one we are committed to supporting. We encourage you to further mark this day by exploring the rich and diverse cultures, voices, experiences and stories of Canada's Indigenous peoples with your children.
And we couldn't agree more! This is what we strive to do at Laugh & Learn ELCC.
