Week 4 of Summer Camp 🛝☀️🧁🐎

Camp days at Birch Centre are filled with smiles, laughter, learning, and new friendships! From creative crafts to exciting games and social skill-building activities, every day was an adventure where campers grew, explored, and had fun in a supportive environment.

Our campers had an incredible time exploring, learning, and making meaningful memories in such a warm and inclusive space. Experiences like these help build confidence, encourage social connections, and create opportunities for our children to grow beyond the therapy room.

The Birch Centre team wishes a very happy Father’s Day to all the incredible fathers, grandfathers, caregivers, and father figures in our community. 💙

This week, we are highlighting one of our Supervised Senior Therapists, Brittany Spina. Brittany is a dedicated Board Certified Behaviour Analyst who brings knowledge, leadership, and creativity to her work with children, families, and clinical teams.

Brittany holds a Master of Education from Ontario Tech University and a Behaviour Analyst Graduate Certificate from Florida Institute of Technology. She has recently completed her R.B.A. (Ont.) designation and is a newly certified BCBA, with 5 years of experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). She has worked closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and teachers.

Brittany is passionate about supporting both clients and staff, creating positive environments where everyone can succeed.

🥅 Brittany’s goal is to design a skill-building training program to support staff and reduce burnout, while continuing to grow in clinical oversight, program development, and mentorship.

🎶 Fun fact: Brittany grew up with music and taught herself guitar, piano, and ukulele during COVID!

Get ready for a fun, structured, and supportive summer at The Birch Centre! Our ABA Summer Camp is designed for children ages 5+ to build essential skills while enjoying exciting activities in a positive environment.

What to Expect:
• Social skills development
• Communication building
• Themed learning days
• Daily routines that support independence
• Fun games, connection, and engaging activities
• Exciting field trips throughout the summer
