This is a fast-paced and captivating read for our junior readers. We were able to have some great conversations about what it means to be a hero and how we can be heroes. This book teaches readers about teamwork, compassion, and embracing adventure. We definitely recommend this book to readers who enjoy fantasy/sci-fi books.

Get ready to dive into a summer full of exciting stories, new friends, and tons of fun! Registration is now OPEN for the Love of Literature summer 2025 book club program (July 5 – August 16)!

Our seven-week virtual book club program is for Black-identifying youth ages 7 to 18. We meet for 90 minutes every Saturday morning at 11 am ET.

At Love of Literature, we read books where Black kids are the heroes, the leaders and the magic-makers. Representation matters! Our children should have access to books with relatable characters, themes and cultural experiences.

This was a really fun book to read and discuss with our readers. We always love reading books that will inspire our readers and strengthen their imagination and this book did exactly that. If you haven't already, you should definitely check this book out!

I had a blast at with my boys this weekend. I went as Nick Fury because is one of my favourite actors.

We love watching movies and reading graphic novels about superheroes at home. I'm glad I got to experience this with my boys 💕.
