Wedding bells ahead!💞🔔
I'll definitely miss my Bradford family. My students have been known as "my kids" because I love them so much. They've been a huge part of my life these past six years and while God has led in my relationship with Will, this is a bittersweet closing of a wonderful chapter.
Soon I'll be Mrs. Jaquemet!!!🥰
Lessons in the Loft will be moving to Alexandria in the upcoming year.

Check this out! My student Mikaela taught herself this piece and recorded for us. Enjoy listening and looking at God's creation, or simply set it background music. Either way, you'll be blessed. Thank you Mikaela for sharing with us!
Ludovico Einaudi - Nuvole Bianche
I hope you enjoy my piano cover of Nuvole Bianche paired with some nature photos that my family took throughout 2022.

Christmas Recital Dec 2, 2022
What a fun time! 23 students performed a variety of pieces, from Christmas to classical to pop, with a special performance to wrap up the evening--for several students, the first time seeing a violin in real life.
Keep up the hard work, students! And you too, parents--I appreciate your help and encouragement!

Honored to have received a couple awards this past year🎶
I received the RCM Gold for Intermediate Piano Pedagogy and the ORMTA Award (both for highest marks in the province)
Thank you to my parents and to my teachers for your support. Also thank you to my students and to their parents for being part of my studio! Couldn't have done it without you!

Spring Recital 2022🎹🌷. The whole studio was so excited for a recital! Everyone was looking forward to it, and the students played so well. It was also special to have so many grandparents join us!

The best part of teaching are those "that was so fun let's do it again" moments. This time, Zoom pulled through with their "concert" filter--well, that's what's we called it.
Amidst much applause, Pavel, with his own newly-composed piece, performed for all the people sitting in the chairs, as well as for myself. The crowd went wild with amazement....
Okay, we had to pretend, but we had oodles of fun, and I did give him a great round of applause. Congrats, Pavel, on a great composition!

I had this one in the closet, but little good it will do in there! It was time for a change anyways.
Practicing seems aggravating, sight reading seems frustrating, interval identification seems impossible. But...
Never. Give. Up. Not when you're trying to sight read, not when you're trying to memorize, not when you're prepping for an exam.
You will get results, but you have to push for them.
