In light of the recent Sydney Sweeney sports ad and the conversation around the over-sexualization of women in sport, we wanted to share a different kind of ad.
Nike’s 2019 “Dream Crazier” campaign.
An ad you can show your daughters. An ad that reminds little girls that being a woman in sport means being strong, competitive, emotional, ambitious, powerful and unapologetic about taking up space.
Women and girls fight incredibly hard every single day to be taken seriously in sport — to have their talent, discipline and accomplishments seen before their bodies.
It’s frustrating that in 2026, the media can still miss that message.
At KOI, we hope every little girl who walks onto our mats learns that her strength is something to be proud of. We want her to kick hard, take up space, become a leader, compete, lose, win, get back up and never believe she has to look a certain way to belong in sport.
Teach your daughters to be strong.
Teach them to be fearless.
Teach them that their bodies are capable of incredible things.
And when they call her crazy for dreaming big?
Show them what crazy can do.
This is what we want girls in sport to grow up seeing. 🥋
