What an incredible day at the Monck Fun Fair! 🎉

Today was a wonderful reminder of what makes our community so special. From the smiling faces and laughter of children to the countless volunteers working behind the scenes, this event was a true community effort.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who made this day possible:

✨ The volunteers who gave their time, energy, and enthusiasm
✨ The organizers and Parent Council members who spent months planning and preparing
✨ The bakers who filled our tables with delicious treats
✨ The vendors, performers, activity leaders, and community groups who shared their talents
✨ Our school staff who supported the event every step of the way
✨ And every family, friend, neighbour, and guest who came out to celebrate with us

Events like this don't happen because of one person or one group. They happen because an entire community comes together with a shared goal: creating opportunities for connection, fun, and lasting memories. ❤️

The Monck Public School's Around the World Fun Fair is finally here, and we are SO excited to celebrate with everyone! 🎉🎈

☀️ The weather is looking AMAZING, and we are ready for an afternoon full of community, culture, music, food, games, laughter, and FUN for the whole family! ❤️

Here’s just a little of what you can expect:

🌍 Interactive cultural booths
⚽ Giant inflatable bubble soccer in the field
🎨 Face painting
🍭 Cotton candy
🌭 BBQ favourites
🍗 Authentic jerk chicken
🌎 Multicultural treats and eats from around the world
🗺️ Giant world map to pin your family’s history on
🎟️ Passport adventure with prizes to win
🎶 DJ Vizionary spinning amazing music all afternoon
🧵 Community art, crafts, games, demonstrations, and MORE!

✨ BEST OF ALL — the event and activities are completely FREE to attend!

Food will be available by donation, with a suggested donation of just $1 per item. From pavlovas to fry bread to jerk chicken and cotton candy, there’s something for everyone! 🍴🌍

🚩 When you arrive, head to the BACK of the school and stop by the Parent Council Table to begin your adventure!

There you can:
📍 Pick up your passport
🗺️ Add a pin to our giant world map
💬 Learn about all the amazing activities happening throughout the event

Then travel from booth to booth collecting stamps from around the world for a chance to win prizes! 🛂✨

This incredible event would not be possible without our amazing volunteers, community partners, school staff, and families who have worked so hard to bring this celebration to life 💙
