🚀Meet Jesus, one of our featured student speakers from Mexico!
After completing the Kumon Math Program at just 15 years old, Jesus went on to study Biotechnology Engineering at Tecnológico de Monterrey and co-found SEPOC, a startup dedicated to sustainable agricultural innovation.
From academic achievement to entrepreneurship, Jesus is using science and innovation to help solve real-world environmental and agricultural challenges. His story is a powerful reminder of what can happen when curiosity, perseverance, and purpose come together.

🚀  Meet Ana Joyce, one of our featured student speakers from Brazil!
At just 15 years old, Ana has already completed both the Kumon Reading and English Language programs and is currently studying Math at Level M. Through years of dedication and self-learning, she has developed the skills that helped her gain acceptance to more than 23 universities while still in her teens.
A talented musician who plays over 15 instruments and speaks English fluently, Ana dreams of becoming a doctor and Neuroscience researcher.

Meet Abdullah, one of our featured student speakers from Hong Kong!
Abdullah’s academic journey is a testament to persistence, excellence, and the power of setting ambitious goals. After completing Kumon’s Mathematics and English Programs, he achieved outstanding results on the 2025 Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (DSE), earning 5* in four subjects and an impressive 5** in one subject.

Finally, the purple Level M pouch is for students who are nearing completion of the Kumon Math Program. They only have three levels left (MNO) and have started studying trigonometry, sequences and series, and integrals, on their way to the final topic of calculus.

The black Level J pouch is for students who have reached high-level math, studying advanced algebraic concepts. In Reading, they're about to begin learning about critical reading, character analysis, and figurative language, while reading excerpts from classics like Pride and Prejudice. Only 3 levels left (JKL) until completion of the Reading Program!!

Meet Kihyun, a Kumon Math and Reading Program Completer. In fact, he just finished the math program this June!

According to Kihyun, the reading program built up his confidence to tackle any book that interests him, making reading more enjoyable. The math program improved his attention to detail, and taught him to persist even when concepts are challenging.

Kihyun likes to be active in his free time. He practices Tae Kwon Do, in which he has earned a 2nd degree Black Belt. He enjoys surfing, and plays soccer competitively. Kihyun is also independently studying Kumon's advanced math Level X to prepare for a future career as an engineer.

Kihyun was one of 155 students from Canada, USA, and Mexico who attended the Virtual Kumon Student Conference in 2020. He and other students had the opportunity to be inspired by Kumon Ambassadors, who are former top Kumon Students who are now excelling in their careers or extracurricular pursuits.
