The coming days and weeks bring many opportunities to remember, celebrate and come together to support one another in our community and beyond. Please see the following for some upcoming events taking place here at Macaulay and reminders about how to help your child prepare for the day.
We would also like to invite Macaulay Family members in for our first Coffee and Connect session on Oct 1st @ 2:15 hosted by our school Mental Health Counsellor. While you wait for your child at pick up, come on in to the library for some refreshments, snacks and conversation around building problem solving and resilience with our kids. We love a good, friendly competition! The Macaulay Running Club has challenged the BPS Running Club to come out to the Bracebridge Terry Fox Run this Sunday Sept 20th! We want to see how many students from each school can join us. It's the perfect way to support a great cause through a community event while getting in a good run. If your child is a runner and wants to come, just show up at Memorial Park, in downtown Bracebridge this Sunday.
Registration is between 9:15-9:30. The walk/run starts at 10AM.
Wear your Macaulay gear!

Our School Terry Fox Run/Walk will take place next week on Sept 25th! Stay tuned for more details...

Welcome to Green Gables! Just kidding! Our brand new portables are here! They are lovely and fresh, and staff have been working hard to get them ready for Tuesday. You will also notice our new swingset has been installed too! Thank you to Parent Council's tireless efforts to raise funds and partner with our community to make this happen. An inspection will happen next week for the swings, then they will be ready for action! We can't wait to see everyone soon 😀

The first day of school is fast approaching! We can't wait to welcome everyone back and meet some new students and families!

Class placement information will be coming your way by the end of the week so you are ready to go for the first day on Tuesday, Sept 8th. See you then!

Look for the information sent home about the Little Caesars fundraiser. Great for those nights you need something quick! All proceeds go towards getting a new swing set for our playground. Open from January 12th to Feb 2nd.

Do you have a young learner entering school? Kindergarten registration opens January 19th. Enrolling soon helps us prepare for our youngest learners in the fall!

2026-2027 Kindergarten registration will be opening on Monday, January 19.

Feeling that post holiday clutter? Have a few used books looking for a new home? Bring them to Macaulay! There is a donation bin in the front foyer. These will be used as a fundraiser with all proceeds going towards the grade 7/8 class trip to Ottawa.
