Confidence isn’t something kids are simply born with. It’s built through preparation, challenges and small victories.
The first step is learning to stand on their own- even when they feel nervous, uncomfortable or unsure.
Courage doesn’t mean they aren’t afraid. It means they’re willing to face the challenge anyway.
Not every moment will go their way. Muay Thai teaches kids to recover, keep working and never quit on themselves.
With every class and every challenge, they begin trusting their training- and believing in what they’re capable of.
Muay Thai develops more than athletes. It builds confident, disciplined and respectful young people.
Help your child discover what they’re capable of. Build their confidence at Redemption Muay Thai. 👊🏼

2026 CANADIAN MUAY THAI OPEN
Team Redemption went 4 for 4 this weekend!
Every athlete displayed amazing Muay Thai, and I couldn’t be prouder of the work they put in. A huge thank you to our entire coaching team and to all the parents who trusted us to coach, guide and safeguard their kids throughout this journey.
We originally had 12 athletes entered, but unfortunately, only four were able to compete. Still, all 12 athletes completed an incredible training camp. They gave up a large part of their summer to prepare and improve.
Our coaches ran the camp and did an amazing job getting everyone ready for this experience. The four athletes who were able to compete showcased all the hard work, but we’re proud of every single athlete who showed up, trained and committed themselves to the competition team.
We finished the weekend as the secondplace top team of the tournament. Calvin was awarded Top Junior Athlete!
I’m extremely proud of this entire team. The results belong to everyone who contributed to this camp our athletes, junior coaches, coaching team and parents.
Congratulations to Daryll and everyone at Darkside Muay Thai for all the hard work that went into putting together the CMTO tournament. We appreciate the opportunity and look forward to next year’s event!

Little Coaches Corner:
Everyone sees the medals and the wins. What people don’t see is what goes on behind the scenes.
Over 10 days, I cornered 27 fights across two major world tournaments in two countries. Most days started with 7:00 AM weigh-ins and ended around 7:00 PM. Many days there was only one meal because the focus was making sure every athlete was physically and mentally ready. I even had a flight booked to Krabi to corner , but his fight was cancelled at the last minute.
I also want to recognize some incredible coaches and support staff that I was able to work with.
stepped up in a huge way, taking on the adult IFMA team while helping the juniors after had to return home unexpectedly. He also handled registration and logistics under a lot of pressure.
was a beast! . He arrived Wednesday and went straight to work Thursday, keeping over 100 WBC Team Canada members informed while constantly moving between corners and ringside showing his support.
and weren’t just responsible for their own athletes- they were in our corners too, giving advice, keeping our athletes calm, and playing a big role in many of our successes.
and gave everything they had, helping not only their own teams but other Ontario teams, including M-Town.
p4p and part of the P4P team had their flight struck by lightning and were forced to land in Australia. They still arrived late and gave 100% from the moment they got there.
aa.chel_ spent countless hours ringside capturing incredible moments for athletes, especially those from Ontario.
was a true leader for Western Canada, supporting not only his own team but athletes and coaches across the entire West.
The athletes earned every medal. But behind every performance is a group of coaches, volunteers, and support staff giving everything they have.
Just wanted to give these amazing people the recognition they deserve. The photos show the victories. They don’t always show what it took to get there.
Thank you all. It was an honour to be part of this journey.

Happy Canada 🇨🇦 Day!
We will be closed for the holiday. Have a safe and weird day off in the middle of the week.

Amazing day for Team Canada today!
Outstanding performances across the board.
It was an honour to be in many athletes corners and watch them compete and represent their country.
Off to Day 2…
coach put on what was, in my opinion, one of the standout performances of the tournament so far.
Composed, technical, and in complete control from start to finish, she earned a dominant victory over France to advance to the semifinals.
palmer._ continued an incredible run, earning a unanimous decision over a tough opponent from Scotland.
That makes five fights in less than a week, a true test of skill, and conditioning- off to the semis.
love_ battled through a strong challenge from Sweden, earning a unanimous decision with composure and relentless pressure. Another semifinal spot secured for Team Canada.

The body gets tired.
The mind decides whether you keep going.
Just another day earning it.
