Training club for members of Canadian Forces and local Community. But is it still truly effective? Try and see. Then this is the art for you.

Style - Yoshinkan Aikido
Dojo atmosphere - relaxed but structured

to control aggression without inflicting injury is the way of peace. You've tried the arts of aggression and power and now you would like to try something less aggressive. Aikido is an art you can do well into your senior years. So if you are looking for something that will give you massive calluses on your hands and feet. Where leaping through the air to finish off your would-be attacker with a flashy flying back dragon kick is your desire, then this isn't what you are looking for. If you are looking to find harmony with those around you and the ability to look down on your attacker and say,"you dropped something.". Come see us during a class, join in and see if this is for you. First class is free, just register at the kiosk and wear long exercise pants.
