t is with great sadness that I announce the passing of one of our long time students and club supporters Pamela Luciak. Pam achieved Shodan in Karate-Do and Batto-Do in the Bonnyville Dojo and represented the club worldwide. She was a fierce competitor and very talented with a sword. Two of her sons were with the club for a period of time so training was a bit of a family thing for a while. The boys backed away for other interests but Pam remained committed to getting her Shodan rank from Demura Sensei. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Bart and the family.
