Our new mascot, of course! He had a little—okay, a lot—of direction from the best custodial team around! 🐻🧹
A HUGE thank you to our phenomenal custodians and our NLPS maintenance crew for all their hard work getting our building spotless, fresh, and ready to welcome back our students and staff. Thank you! 💙

🐻 MORE BEAR PRIDE FROM THE ALBERTA SUMMER GAMES! ⚽🥍✨
The celebration doesn't stop! We have a few more of our amazing student-athletes to recognize for representing our school and community on the provincial stage this past weekend.
A big shoutout to:
⚽ Kaylie – representing on the pitch in Soccer!
🥍 Vienna – tearing it up on the field in Lacrosse!
From track and field to soccer and lacrosse, our Bears showed up, competed hard, and made us all so proud!

Join us in giving a big shoutout to Skyler Coates and Avery Mitchell for their Bronze medal performances at the Alberta Summer Games!
Skyler brought home Bronze as part of the 1200m Medley Relay team! 🏃♀️
Avery earned Bronze in Shot Put with an incredible throw of 10.95 meters! 💪
Skyler, Avery, and every single one of our Bears who competed and coached this weekend—thank you for making our school community so proud!

🐻 BEARS AT THE ALBERTA SUMMER GAMES! 🐾
Huge congratulations to all of our incredible students who traveled to Strathcona County this weekend to represent our school and community at the 2026 Alberta Summer Games!
We are so incredibly proud of your hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship. A special shoutout to our Bear who is bringing home a Bronze medal in Shot Put—what an amazing achievement! 🥉✨
We also want to give a massive shoutout and thank you to Ms. Kerri German, who spent her weekend out at the games coaching track! 🏃♂️👟 Our school is so lucky to have staff who dedicate their time to supporting youth sports both in and out of the classroom.
To every single athlete who competed: you represented us beautifully, and we hope you have an absolute blast at the Closing Ceremonies today! 🎉
