Congratulations to our BHS welding students!

Four BHS students recently had the opportunity to complete a CWB stick welding ticket in the flat position. This is a great experience, as the testing process requires students to prepare their material, complete quality SMAW welds, and then have their test pieces inspected and put through a bend test to check the strength, fusion, and overall quality of their welds.

A special congratulations goes out to Ethan Sullivan and Hayden Underhill, who were successful in their bend tests and earned their welding qualifications. This is a proud moment and a great example of the skill, focus, and hard work our students are developing in the trades.

We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to UA Local 325 and the UA/MCA JATC for their continued support of our students and trades education.
