It’s safe to say that the club had a great Canada Day as usual! 🇨🇦
Retuning OOT student Lea S executed a safe first solo flight - Congratulations Lea, and fly safe!
Members brought their better half’s (& in some cases smaller people) and stayed for our Canada Day BBQ organized by a group of great volunteers! 🍗🍔
Come out, & stay out 🍻(or go solo).

After a long wait (nearly 2 years) the Club’s Pawnee, C-FTTY is back and operational.
TTY underwent extensive maintenance on its engine, and what was required to comply with the recent PA-25 Airworthiness Directive (AD).
The aircraft arrived today with a celebration pass, then subsequently completed 8 tows.
This is a significant milestone for Cu Nim in 2026, and monumental for resuming our regular operations including training, introductory flights, and much more.
Cu Nim extends its thanks to those involved in bringing our bird home, and especially our members who have been patient - waiting for a day like today!
Safe tows!

Important and necessary for the first steps of gliding- or a good refresher for some!

While our Pawnee is getting new wing spars, we're able to use (graciously) the Alberta Soaring Council Scout.
Our students are into their curriculum now, here's another one on tow in our ASK21B while tow pilot works with the reoriented mirrors on PCK!
