PUBLIC NOTICE: Bear Trap Located Behind the Baseball Field

This measure is being taken to ensure the safety of residents and to manage wildlife in a respectful and responsible manner. The trap will be monitored regularly by our Lands Department.

Safety Reminders:
🐻 Ensure children and pets are kept away from the Baseball Field Area.
🐻 Be Bear Wise and Always Practice Bear Safety.
🐻 Do not put out your Garbage until the Wednesday pickup Day.
🐻 Please always keep a safe distance from the trap.
🐻 Do not attempt to touch, move, or interfere with the Bear or any captured wildlife.

Report any bear sightings immediately to our Matt Gibson, Lands Field Technician at 705-207-5081 or Keith Nahwegahbow, Lands Director at 705-863-2590.
