🧡 Orange Shirt Day — September 30

Today, our school community comes together to honour the children who never returned home from residential schools, remember the survivors, and recognize the lasting impact residential schools have had on Indigenous families and communities.

Wearing orange is a simple way to show that Every Child Matters and to remind ourselves that every child deserves to feel safe, valued, respected, and loved.

Today and every day, we continue learning, listening, and walking together on the path of truth and reconciliation. 🧡

Every Child Matters. Every Child Belongs.

🤖⛏️ STEM Academy Minecraft & Robotics Fun! 🎮
Nanan STEM Academy held a fantastic Minecraft & Robotics activity, and the kids had an absolute blast! Fifteen kids took part, and it was so much fun watching them learn, create, and experiment.
One student even coded his robot to play the Minecraft song! How cool is that? 🎶🤖
These programs are proudly sponsored by the Bethune Recreation Board and K & S Potash Corp, and organized by Bethune Library.
A big thank you to CDS for allowing us to use the computer lab! We truly appreciate your support in helping make these programs possible. ❤️
What a great afternoon of learning, creativity, and FUN! 🎮🤖

🏆 Tucker & Walker
We also had prizes for participants who handed in their reading log sheets and entered their information on Reader Zone. Adults got to choose a prize from our basket of goodies! 🎁
And now for the really impressive number…

📖 Our little library read an amazing 135,676 minutes this summer! ⏰🎉

Thank you to everyone who participated, encouraged a young reader, shared a book, or simply made reading part of your summer. We are so proud of our community of readers and grateful for everyone who helped make this year's program such a success.

Way to read, everyone! ❤️📚
