Students and Ambassadors organized a special farewell luncheon for Pamir from Türkiye who was a student at Annapolis West Education for the month of September. They shared lots of laughs and tears over a yummy lunch. Farwell Pamir. We will miss you!

AVRCE NSISP Students from Avon View High School and West Hants Middle School enjoyed a welcoming event with their Host families, Coordinators and Student ambassador. Everyone was invited for an hour of ice time. Students also participated in a variety of icebreakers that the ambassador students coordinated. Snacks were provided and everyone had a fantastic time.

Host family Monique and Justin took their international student Rose from Belgium, along with her friend Mikoto from Japan to Prince Edward Island this past weekend. They had a fabulous time. Thank you Monique and Justin for sharing.

National Day of Truth and Reconciliation is a Canadian federal statutory holiday to honour Residential School survivors, their families and their communities. People wear orange today to honour and remember them.

AVRCE NSISP new students had a fabulous time at new student orientation at the West Hants Sportsplex. They participated in lots of team building activities and tried skating for the first time for many students. This is an annual event for students across all schools to meet and mingle with one another.

In the first photo, new students, as well as volunteer student ambassadors from Annapolis West Education Centre pose together for a great pic. Volunteer Ambassadors at all schools are a great asset to our program. We are so grateful for each student who volunteers. Thank you for everything you do.

AVRCE NSISP is delighted to welcome 141 new students from 22 countries to attend schools in the Annapolis Valley. All students came together to attend an orientation and each year students get a photo together with their country flag. This is a great opportunity to meet one another and experience a fun filled day together.

Welcome to all new students to Nova Scotia. We hope you have an incredible experience. We are so happy that you are here.

Student and family meet and greet at Northeast Kings Education Centre. Visited two birds, one stone flower farm to bring flowers home to our host families. Awesome experience and highly recommended. Everyone had a wonderful time.

Avon View students spent the day at the Hants County Exhibition. A lot of fun was had by all!

The Hants County Exhibition is Canada's oldest agricultural fair. First established in 1765, the Hants County Exhibition is North America's oldest continuously operating fair. The exhibition celebrates rural life, farming heritage and the connection between communities. It brings together farmers, artisans, families, students and the general public to enjoy livestock competitions and displays, arts, crafts and horticultural exhibits, carnival rides, games, entertainment and much more. This year the Hants County Exhibition will take place September 18 to 20 and 25 to 27, 2026. Check out www.hantscountyex.com for all the details.
