The hardest part is the “See you later”! Our students are leaving with more than just full suitcases. They have gained new friendships, experiences, and memories that will last forever. Thank you for coming to study in Nova Scotia and sharing your cultures with us! We will miss you. Please come back to visit in the future.

Our international group of students from Central Kings High School had their last social tonight at the house. A lot of tears and laughs, but this year has come to an end. We are sad to see the kids go, we made such great memories. Getting to know all the students has been wonderful. We are so blessed to have this experience with such amazing kids.

Congratulations to Marco and Kaique who graduated from Central Kings High School. Marco got Honours with Distinction and Kaique graduated with Honours. Congratulations!!! Kaique will be attending Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia in September for 4 years. His host family is very happy as they will share all their holidays together.

Their host parents said both boys have left to go back to their countries and Helena left with her dad and will be traveling throughout Canada for the next 3 weeks with her family. So nice to meet her dad Duncan from Germany. Another year done and two more kids in September. We had a great year and we feel so blessed to have loved so many kids from many countries.

One year after her winter semester with NSISP, Victoria from Germany returned to Nova Scotia for a visit! She arrived just in time to celebrate her friends’ graduation and spent three weeks soaking up the Nova Scotia summer with her host family. From reconnecting with familiar faces to making new memories, it was a visit filled with fun, laughter, and adventure. See you laters are always hard, but until next time! ❤️

Congratulations to all our NSISP students who graduated from Avon View High School! Dea from Italy, Vanesa from Slovakia, Julio from Brazil, John, Neslisha, Bade, Emir, Kivanc all from Türkiye, as well as Loki Hong from China who graduated early. Many graduated with Honours, and Honours with Distinction with plans to return to Nova Scotia to attend university in the fall! Congratulations students!!!
