In our Pre-Casa classroom, a simple apple became a wonderful opportunity for meaningful Montessori learning. 🌱

Our little learners washed, scrubbed, rinsed, and dried their apples—carefully completing each step before enjoying the fruits of their work at lunchtime! 🍎💛

This hands-on Practical Life experience encouraged children to develop:

Our little scientists turned ordinary apples into extraordinary masterpieces with a fun Fizz Art activity! ❤️🎨

Using baking soda, paint, and vinegar, the children carefully used droppers to create exciting fizzy reactions. As the apples bubbled and fizzed, they explored cause and effect, early science concepts, fine motor skills, creativity, and sensory learning—all through hands-on discovery.

The Knobbed Cylinders are one of the many beautiful Montessori materials that help children learn through discovery.

This sensorial activity allows children to explore important mathematical concepts such as width, height, tall, short, wide, and thin through hands-on experience. As they carefully match each cylinder to its correct socket, they’re also strengthening visual discrimination, hand-eye coordination, concentration, problem-solving skills, and the fine motor muscles needed for writing.

Our Beach Day sparked so much curiosity! After seeing and exploring the beautiful seashells at the beach, our children couldn’t stop talking about them.

Back in the classroom, we brought that inspiration to life by painting seashells. Each child chose their own colours and patterns, turning simple shells into bright, creative masterpieces. 🌈🖌️

This activity encouraged creativity, strengthened fine motor skills, and helped children connect their real-world experiences with meaningful classroom learning—one of the many ways Montessori education inspires curiosity beyond the classroom.

Today, our little learners had so much fun exploring the French language! 🌟 From counting 1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣ in French, to matching letters, shapes, and vocabulary, every activity helped build confidence through hands-on learning. 🧩🔤

And of course… no French lesson is complete without ending with a joyful French song and dance! 🎶💃 Watching our children sing, move, and learn with smiles on their faces is what Montessori education is all about.
