It's that time of year when our preschool friends are leaving us to head off into the world on a quest to "BIG School". We would like to thank all of the families for the kindness you have shown to the staff, and most of all for allowing us to be a part of your child's life and your families. We will miss you all and wish you all the best of luck on your next "First Adventure".

First Adventure has preschool spaces available for children that are 2.5-4 years old starting September 8th at both the Bridge Street and Georges Vanier Campuses. Please contact the office directly at 613-962-3474 and ask for Lori or Mary Ellen.

We are in need of a roofer at First Adventure that can seal some areas where the birds are getting in. It is a three storey victorian building in the east end of Belleville so the work will need to be completed at extreme heights. Any recommendations?

First Adventure is looking to hire two full time contract RECE staff to start June 22/26. Applicants must have a two year college diploma and be registered with the College of ECE and have up to date first aid and CPR. Starting salary is $25.86 per hour.

It is with a very heavy heart that we are letting all of our First Adventure families know that Marilyn Gibson has passed away. Marilyn has been part of the First Adventure family for over 20 years and has touched the hearts of hundreds of children and their families throughout her career here.
The children fondly remember crafting with Marilyn, planting and cultivating the outdoor garden, and all of the creative play that she encouraged.
Marilyn had the biggest heart and had a truly special way of connecting with the children and families that walked into her classroom each and every day. The childcare community has lost one of the best there is today. Marilyn will forever be in our thoughts, our good memories, and our hearts.
Rest peacefully my friend, you've earned it! ❤️

First Adventure will once again be running summer camps this year for school aged children.
Priority will go to children currently in the before and after school program at Georges Vanier until March 31.
On April 1 we will open registration to the public and spaces will be first come, first served.
If your child is a current before and after school child and you are needing summer care, please reach out to Brittany Simpson at 613-969-8316 to confirm your space prior to March 31.
