It is with a very heavy heart that we are letting all of our First Adventure families know that Marilyn Gibson has passed away. Marilyn has been part of the First Adventure family for over 20 years and has touched the hearts of hundreds of children and their families throughout her career here.
The children fondly remember crafting with Marilyn, planting and cultivating the outdoor garden, and all of the creative play that she encouraged.
Marilyn had the biggest heart and had a truly special way of connecting with the children and families that walked into her classroom each and every day. The childcare community has lost one of the best there is today. Marilyn will forever be in our thoughts, our good memories, and our hearts.
Rest peacefully my friend, you've earned it! ❤️

First Adventure will once again be running summer camps this year for school aged children.
Priority will go to children currently in the before and after school program at Georges Vanier until March 31.
On April 1 we will open registration to the public and spaces will be first come, first served.
If your child is a current before and after school child and you are needing summer care, please reach out to Brittany Simpson at 613-969-8316 to confirm your space prior to March 31.

Our centers will be closed today. With the current weather conditions and cleanup that needs to happen, we want all our families and staff to be safe.

Georges Vanier School is currently without power and is closing. We ask that all parents of children at the Georges Vanier childcare site pick up their children immediately.

First Adventure is looking for a full time RECE for a 14 month contract, with possible extension, to start February 1/26 until March 31/27. This will be a 35-40 hour per week position with an hourly wage of $25.86 plus 4% vacation pay. Please forward your resume to [email protected]
