We are excited to announce our current Fundraiser "Little Caesars Pizza Kits". From now until March 12th, you can support us by visiting "www.pizzakit.ca" to place an order. Our program will receive $6.00 from every kit sold. When ordering you will need to enter our Fundraising ID # 405780 and please include your email address and phone number.

All money raised will be going towards our goal to have our Preschool Playground redeveloped to better meet the needs of the children and families we support.

Orders will arrive at Catundra Day Care Centre the week of April 11-15. We will contact people via phone or email to arrange a pick up time. IF you order from a specific family or staff, please include their name in the "Seller" section, and they will ensure you receive your order.

Today we found out that one of our families' parents devastatingly lost their house to a fire only a couple days ago, here in Belleville. This is such sad news, especially this time of year and we at Catundra our holding them in our thoughts and are taking up a collection to offer help and support to the family.

Registered Early Childhood Educators
Currently hiring for 1 Part-time position AND 1-3 Casual/On-call positions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
 Early Childhood Education (ECE) Diploma or equivalent and registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators (first preference); Developmental Services Worker (DSW) and Social Service Worker (SSW) with early years child related experience may be considered.
 Up to date Standard First Aid training and CPR (including Infant/Child).
 Clear Criminal Reference Check including Vulnerable Screening through the Belleville Police Services or the O.P.P.
 Up to date immunization as required by the Medical Officer of Health.
JOB SKILLS:
 Experience working with preschool aged-children using play-based learning; experience with Infants and Toddler aged children an asset.
 Ability to work as part of a team
 Experience with How Does Learning Happen an asset
 Working knowledge of child development principles
 Effective communication both verbally and written
RESPONSIBILTIES:
 Ensure compliance with provincial licensing and health requirements, standards and guidelines.
 Assist in developing program activities using play-based learning and appropriate for specific age groups and individual children.
 Perform general and routine cleaning duties, including Covid guidelines
 Maintain effective supervision while actively engaging in children’s learning and play
 Provide positive child guidance and support children in developing self-regulation and problem-solving strategies.
 Develop open/honest professional relationships with families; communicating daily and positively regarding children’s skills, development, behaviours and interests.

WAGE: $15.70-$17.92 hourly *plus 2.00/hr provincial wage enhancement
