✨ Holiday Greetings from the OSD–SJW Alumni Association Board ✨

As the year comes to a close, we would like to extend our warmest holiday wishes to all of our alumni and community members. Wishing you a very happy holiday season; Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and a Happy New Year. May 2026 bring you joy, meaningful moments, good health, and prosperity.

As we reflect on this past term, and especially on the alumni reunion we had the privilege of planning and hosting last August, we are filled with gratitude. None of it would have been possible without the continued support, involvement, and spirit of our alumni and community. 2025 has truly been a memorable year.

With our term officially concluding on December 31, 2025, and a new board term beginning on January 1, 2026, we would like to wish the incoming board every success. We will be cheering you on and look forward to seeing all that you have in store for the Alumni Association.

To close, we are pleased to share a few photos from last August’s alumni reunion, a wonderful reminder of connection, celebration, and community.

With love and gratitude,
OSD–SJW Alumni Association Board (2015–2025)

✨ Giving Back to SJW ✨

Yesterday, during SJW’s 31st Annual Unique Celebration school play, several members of the OSD-SJW Alumni Association Board had the honour of stepping on stage to announce several donations made on behalf of our alumni community. 💙💛

We are proud to support the following SJW programs and initiatives:

• $3,000 toward Youth Canada Tournament for the Deaf (YCTD) fundraising, this contribution will help support SJW’s team of 12 players traveling to Vancouver, BC in Spring 2027 to proudly represent SJW.

• $1,000 to Deaf Children Festival fundraising

• $1,000 to Student Lodging’s Maple Fundraising, supporting the build of a better maple syrup collection shack on campus 🍁

• $1,000 to Petty Cash

• $500 to SJW Parents Council

• $500 to Yearbook Club

• $500 to Drama Club 🎭

…………………………………………… TOTAL: $7,500

Moments like these remind us why alumni support matters, investing in students, programs, and traditions that continue to shape the SJW community. We are honoured to give back and look forward to seeing these initiatives grow. 💫

💙💛
