Itsy Bitsy Before & After School Care

This week the kids had the option of colouring pictures / writing notes for their grandparents and today we mailed them off! The kids were excited to discuss how mail works and they think they spotted the mail carrier van as we were leaving that was going to come to pick up their mail!

Sometimes redirecting kids to colouring / writing is hard when they are engaged in playing with their friends so there were varying levels of effort but whether you get a little scribble or a whole coloured page please know your grand babies love you and they thought of you 💗💙🧸

I missed posting these last week. On Friday, we said “See you later” to a very special young man who has been with us Mon-Fri for 6 years! He was truly part of our family and although we will see him again next summer, it wont be the same through the school year. Wishing Alex all the best in his next chapter!!!!

That’s a wrap on summer 2025 ✌🏻 wishing all of the kids a smooth transition into this new school year!! Another epic summer full of memories! 🥰

I don’t post our summer calendar ahead of time publicly for safety reasons; but now that summer is over 😢 I wanted to share so others can see what parents get at the beginning of summer 🙂 I typically start working on this in February of each year.

It is tradition on the last day that we all gather in the living room and look through the photos up on the big screen 📺 from all of our summer adventures and reminisce on our favorite memories.

Every member of our group got a framed photo! What a nice keepsake!

Itsy Bitsy does Toronto!!! Wow! What a way to end the summer with a 10 hour day trip into the city to Medieval Times 🏰🐴 Their faces say it all!! Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who had a part in giving these kids such an incredible experience!! It was a blast. They were so so so so well behaved.

Pirate ship park morning!

Abandoned Asylum escape room!! We escaped with only 3 clues and 7 minutes to spare!! This was the funnest one yet! Brooklyn randomly used some sort of morris code and knocked on the door making the cabinet swing open (surprised us all because we didn’t know what she was doing!) such a smart cookie!!!!

The kids have been working hard on their time capsules to set aside to open next year!! ⏱️🫙

O’Hara Mills, Madoc Park, and frogs today!! 🐸

Picked up our pottery pieces today!!!! Ahhhh these are awesome keepsakes!!! I am so in love with them!
