IBBY Canada is pleased to announce that nine-year-old Yekaronyohs (Kanyen'keha) is the winner of the Celebrating Young Indigenous Voices: From Sea to Sea to Sea writing contest, sponsored by the IBBY-Yamada Fund. The best day at the beach with this crew! It’s was chilly but that don’t stop the swimming, the soccer, the digging or the water squirting! ☀️

Book Character Day at ‘Camp Read Alot’. We had a fun day sharing our books and stories around the campfire and spent some time quietly reading in our tents, enjoyed s’mores and even took in some of the FIFA World Cup game! We were happy campers!

The Elementary class has had a very busy week! Music Days and a very warm walk today to the Safety Village…. The year is winding down and the fun is revving up!! ☀️
