Our Belleville Christian School campus is hiring a Building & Facilities Manager/ Custodian!

Salary Range: $50,000–$55,000 per year

Key Responsibilities
* Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment.
* Perform daily custodial duties, including cleaning classrooms, hallways, washrooms, offices, the gymnasium, and common areas.
* Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
* Conduct routine inspections and address minor maintenance needs.
* Lead the Building & Grounds Committee, helping oversee facility priorities and projects.
* Coordinate and organize volunteers to support building, maintenance, and grounds initiatives.
* Coordinate and complete annual summer cleaning and facility preparation.
* Assist with facility rentals, including scheduling, setup, and oversight when required.
* Monitor building systems and report maintenance concerns promptly.
* Perform snow removal and ice control as needed to ensure safe access to the facility.
* Assist with event setup and teardown for school functions and community events.
* Help ensure compliance with health, safety, and building standards.

Qualifications
* Experience in custodial, maintenance, or facility management work preferred.
* Ability to operate cleaning equipment and perform physical work, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
* Basic maintenance and repair skills are considered an asset.
* Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Christian education.
* A positive attitude and willingness to serve students, staff, and families.
* OHSA certification is an asset

Preschool Teacher (Term Contract – 2026/2027 School Year)
Location: Little Sparks Preschool at Trenton Christian School, Trenton, Ontario

Little Sparks Preschool is seeking (2) caring, enthusiastic, and faith-filled Preschool Teachers to join our team for a one-year term contract during the 2026/2027 school year.

At Little Sparks Preschool, we provide a nurturing, play-based learning environment inspired by Ontario's How Does Learning Happen? framework and grounded in the Christian values and educational vision of Teaching for Transformation. We are committed to fostering wonder, creativity, belonging, and growth in young children as they discover God's world.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

* Registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators (RECE) in good standing, or a combination of relevant education and experience

* Knowledge of and commitment to Ontario's How Does Learning Happen? framework

* Ability to integrate Christian faith and values into daily interactions and learning experiences

* Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

* A collaborative approach to working with children, families, and colleagues

* Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification (or willingness to obtain)

* A clear Vulnerable Sector Screening (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

The successful candidates will:

* Plan and facilitate engaging, developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences

* Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and faith-filled classroom environment

* Observe, document, and reflect on children's learning and development

* Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual growth

* Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in accordance with ministry regulations and program policies

* Build positive relationships and communicate effectively with families and staff

* Participate in team planning, professional learning, and school community events as appropriate
