This Thursday’s JoMO WEBINAR is still on!

However, because of the overwhelming desire of families to take part in the webinar from the comfort of their own homes, we have cancelled the in-person watch party.

If you haven’t already registered for this year’s JoMO webinars, including the first one on Thursday, October 1, you can do so here: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_ZDZSG-lyQX-uOQj5WuK7xA #/registration

If you can’t make it, you’ll still be able to view the webinar afterwards if you register.

You’re not on this parenting journey alone!

Join us at the Quinte Christian High School campus on October 1 for a Parent Night and Watch Party, where we’ll participate in the first JoMO webinar for the first of the 2026-2027 series.

We’ll have snacks and connection time at 7:30 pm and then tune in at 8:00 for the webinar.

Christina Crook and a panel of students kick off the series by exploring what it means to be a JOMO Parent. Hear firsthand what teens wish their parents knew about technology!

Let us know that you will be attending the watch party in person by completing this form. We hope to see you there! And if you know another parent who would appreciate this, invite them to join you!

Anyone else watch that little bus icon make its way toward your stop this morning? 😂😍

We hope everyone had a great first morning back! And now that Bustrak is officially up and running, there are a couple of features we wanted to make sure you knew about (KEEP READING, THERE’S MORE):
📍 You can follow your child’s bus in real time
🔔 You can set alerts for when the bus is getting close
📱 And you can mark your child absent from the bus right in the app *****That last one is a BIG help on our end too.***** We’re happy to have Mary-Ellen training as a new admin at BCS, and marking bus absences in Bustrak will help make things much smoother for her, our TCS and QCHS admins, and our bus drivers.

Plus, if Grandma is picking them up, you have an appointment after school, or you made one of those ambitious “I’ll pick you up on the first day!” promises 😉, please mark the trip they won’t be riding right in the app. This means fewer messages have to make their way from parent → office → teacher → driver, so that you’re not running through the school parking lot after a departing bus with your kids on it (never happened to you? well now it never will 😂).

One quick setup reminder: make sure notifications are turned on both in Bustrak AND in your phone settings if you want those handy “the bus is getting close!” alerts.
📣 Still getting set up? Please create your Bustrak account using the email address you use with the school. If your confirmation email doesn’t show up, check your spam/junk folder.

Something not right with your route, stop or transportation information? 📧 [email protected]

Having a technical/account issue with Bustrak? 📧 [email protected]

Here’s to a little less standing at the end of the driveway wondering “where IS that bus?” this year. 🙌🚌
